Piotr Bytnerowicz, FCIArb
Piotr Bytnerowicz, FCIArb is a Counsel in the White & Case International Arbitration Practice, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Society of Construction Law.
Piotr serves as counsel and arbitrator in commercial and construction arbitration. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries including oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, construction, real estate development, telecommunications, insurance, logistics and many others.
Piotr has significant experience in dealing with claims arising out of construction projects, M&A transactions, joint ventures and other commercial contracts. Recently he was involved in what is believed to be one of the largest construction arbitrations in the world, relating to an LNG project in the Northern Territory of Australia. Piotr has spent nearly two years working with the client on the ground in Western Australia, managing a team of engineers and quantity surveyors developing claims for hundreds of millions of US dollars.
He is a member of the Working Group for Trainings of the Arbitration Commission of ICC Poland and of the ICC CEE Arbitration Group, and an alumnus of the ICC Advance Arbitration Academy for CEE.
