Michał Jochemczak is a partner at Dentons, where he heads the Band 1-ranked arbitration team in Poland (Chambers).

He focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, bringing more than twenty years of experience to his practice. Michał’s work spans domestic and international construction projects, real estate transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate law and financial services. He advises on international civil law matters, including jurisdictional issues, enforcement of judgments and conflict of laws, as well as competition law, covering corporate and procedural aspects.

Michał has extensive experience in resolving major infrastructure disputes. He advises and represents both domestic and international clients at every stage of a complex project’s lifecycle – from negotiation and contract performance to contract management, dispute avoidance and resolution through arbitration or court proceedings. His project portfolio includes LNG terminals, power plants, wind farms, waste-to-energy (WtE) facilities, power stations, transmission lines, railways and roads.

He also advises on shareholder disputes and post-M&A disputes, representing majority and minority shareholders, investors, founders and corporate boards in high-stakes conflicts over governance, fiduciary duties and shareholder agreements. His experience encompasses disputes over valuation disagreements, breaches of representations and warranties, earn-out provisions and contested buyouts.
