Joanna Kolber
Joanna Kolber is a partner in Strelia in Dispute Resolution practice. Representing Belgian and international clients, Joanna’s practice covers arbitration and litigation in various industries including i.a. construction, energy, insurance and reinsurance and M&A. Joanna acts as arbitrator and counsel in commercial ad hoc or institutional arbitration (CEPANI, NAI, ICC) as well as in post-arbitration proceedings, and she has previous experience as secretary to arbitral tribunals.
Before joining Strelia in September 2013, Joanna gained experience at international law firms, NGO’s and in academia. Joanna obtained her law degree from Jagiellonian University of Krakow, Poland (2006), as well as diplomas from the Schule des Deutschen Rechts (RuprechtKarls-Universität Heidelberg, Johannes GutenbergUniversität Mainz, Jagiellonian University; 2005), from the School of American Law (Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, Jagiellonian University; 2004) and from the Academy on International Arbitration, Central-Dis in Cologne, Germany (2007). Joanna speaks Dutch, French, English, German and Polish.
