Dennis N. Kostic

Dennis N. Kostic is CEO of Weir International, Weir Resources, and Bluegrass Natural Resources – companies providing consulting and project management services to the global mining and energy industries and operating an underground mining complex in Harlan County, Kentucky producing ~2 million tons of metallurgical coal annually. A mining engineer (B.S., 1970, Missouri School of Mines), he is a registered Professional Engineer (Mining) in IL, KY, PA, and WV, and a certified mine foreman in WV. With 56 years of experience and involvement in 250+ mineral projects worldwide, his expertise spans mine design, ventilation and methane mitigation, operational assessments, due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial/market analysis. Since 1978 he has supported 40+ arbitration and litigation matters and authored NI 43-101, JORC, and SEC SK-1300 technical reports.
