Adam Markiewicz
Adam Markiewicz is a Managing Director at Quantuma’s Forensic Accounting and Investigations team. Based in Poland, he focuses on expert witness and dispute advisory across Europe.
Adam typically acts as a forensic accountant or a business valuer in both litigation and arbitration proceedings, serving as a party- and court/tribunal-appointed expert, expert determiner or an advisor. His areas of specific focus include damage computation, investment valuation, M&A and shareholder disputes. For six years, he has served as a court-appointed expert in financial analysis and business valuation.
Adam has participated in many litigation and arbitration matters of differing size and complexity, conducted under the auspices of courts and various arbitral institutions (e.g. PCA, LCIA, ICC, VIAC, SAKIG and Lewiatan) in Central and Eastern Europe, France, Middle East and Asia.
Prior to joining Quantuma in 2021, he spent 10 years at Deloitte in Warsaw and Paris, mostly working on diverse contentious matters. His earlier career covered financial advisory, corporate financial management as well as audit and due diligence engagements.
Throughout his career, he has valued over 100 businesses and intangible assets in M&A, regulatory, tax, contentious, financial reporting and decision-making contexts.
His experience covers many different industry sectors with significant exposure to construction, energy & resources, industrial manufacturing and retail.
